A tourist train was launched to Veliky Ustyug for families of NWO participants

Russian servicemen who underwent rehabilitation after injuries received during a special operation in Ukraine, and family members went on a New Year’s Eve rail cruise to Veliky Ustyug, the birthplace of the All-Russian Father Frost. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
It is noted that the holiday tour is organized within the framework of the project of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation “We do not abandon our own” and JSC “Russian Railways”. The train follows the route: Moscow – Veliky Novgorod – mountain park “Ruskeala” – Arkhangelsk – Veliky Ustyug. The trip is for five days.
20 servicemen and 207 family members of the special operation participants, including 106 children, went on the trip. The smallest of the children is 3 months old.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded to work out measures to support the families of military personnel participating in the NVO, in terms of organizing recreation in Russia. We are talking, among other things, about the allocation of personalized certificates to pay for tourist trips for members of military families participating in a special operation in Ukraine. Putin emphasized that attention to the issues of support for NWO participants and their families should be paramount.
Veliky Ustyug in 1999 was declared the birthplace of Father Frost in Russia, it is a popular center for family tourism.
