Tiger Center reports that an Amur tigress captured in the Khabarovsk Territory, which attacked dogs in taiga villages, is planned to be released into the wild. This tigress was caught on the night of December 27-28.
She has already completed four successful hunts and is in good health.
Earlier, in Lermontovka, Bikinsky district, as well as in Mukhen and Srednekhorsky districts named after Lazo, other tigers were caught, which also attacked dogs.
There are about 750 Amur tigers in Russia, which are a protected species and are listed in the Red Book of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and the Russian Federation.
