The Rostov Regional Children’s Hospital refused to hospitalize a three-year-old girl with a cerebellar tumor. The portal writes about this 161.RU.
According to the child’s mother, Liliya, early in the morning of October 14, the baby’s condition deteriorated sharply. The girl began to choke; it turned out that some of the vomit had entered her lungs. She was taken to the Kagalnitskaya Central District Hospital by ambulance under an oxygen mask. The Central District Hospital called the regional hospital to ask for medical assistance, but they were refused.
They agreed to help the child only through online consultations. Doctors at the regional hospital said that the child needed to be stabilized, but the Central District Hospital had neither a resuscitation specialist nor a ventilator.
Later Ksenia Sobchak and “Caution Media” reportedthat at about 7 pm, 12 hours after the request, an ambulance was nevertheless sent for the baby. Doctors put the child into a coma and intubated him to take him to a regional hospital.
