The press service of the regional administration reports that in the Kostroma microdistrict Davydovsky-3, the construction of a speed skating court with artificial ice for three lanes of 250 meters begins.
The new sports facility will be part of the base of the Olympic reserve school located in the same microdistrict – it must satisfy the needs of 110 Kostroma skaters who now have to travel to training camps in Kolomna near Moscow.
However, the speed skating court will not be closed to outsiders – other residents of Davydovsky-3 will be able to use it in their free time from training of young athletes.
It will be possible to try out the Kostroma ice, as they say in the regional sports committee, at the beginning of 2024.
