In Vladivostok, on Russky Island, a winter ice race took place in Novik Bay. More than 1,300 athletes from seven countries participated.

As noted by the mayor of the city, Konstantin Shestakov, the Magic Vladivostok Ice Run half-marathon is being held for the ninth time and has already become a tradition. Both children and adults took part in the competition. This year two new nominations were added: for families and youth.

Among the foreign guests, representatives from China, Germany, Mauritius, Japan, Belarus, and India participated in the half marathon. The Russian side was represented not only by Primorye residents, but also by residents of the Arkhangelsk, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk and Kursk regions. Far Easterners from Kamchatka and Khabarovsk Territory – 16 regions in total – did not ignore the race.
