A tennis player from Sochi became the winner of an international tournament

Sochi resident Alexander Lobanov won the M15 MONASTIR tennis tournament, which took place in Tunisia. This was discussed at the Regional Sports Training Center No. 2.
Lobanov won the doubles event together with another Russian, Evgeniy Tyurnev, representing Vsevolozhsk.
The Russian duo had the 4th seed in the tournament. 3 rounds of the competition Lobanov and Tyurnev played exclusively against couples from Italy. The most difficult match was the first round, in which the Russians won the decisive tiebreaker with a score of 10:8. Lobanov/Tyurnev finished 2 other matches in their favor in two sets.
In the final match, the Russians met with the international duo Christoph Negritu (Germany) and Jakub Paul (Switzerland). In the most stubborn match, victory went to Lobanov and Tyurnev – 6:7, 6:4, 10:8.
Previously, Sochi tennis player Rada Zolotareva became finalist of the tournament in Dubai in singles and doubles.
