A teleconference with their families was organized for servicemen from the Samara region. About this today, January 12, informs press service of the regional government.
The teleconference was organized during the meeting of the head of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov with fellow countrymen. Currently, the governor works in the Rostov region. According to the head of the region, direct communication between servicemen and relatives is especially important, since the relatives of the soldiers were very worried about them after the incident in Makiivka.
The conversation with relatives as part of the teleconference lasted more than an hour. After the conversation, the head of the Samara region held a personal reception of the fighters. All appeals and questions are taken under special control. Mr. Azarov also promised continuous assistance to the families of servicemen on any issues.
On New Year’s Eve, the armed forces of Ukraine attacked the building of a local school in the city of Makeyevka in the DPR, where a Russian military unit was located, with HIMARS missiles. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, 89 people died. Later it became knownthat the lists of injured fighters from the Samara region will not be published, and all information in the military commissariats is provided personally to members of the families of the military.
