A team of young men from the Dukhovshchinsky district made it to the finals of the XXXIX Spartakiad of students of the Smolensk region.
The basketball players made it to the finals thanks to their successful results at the qualifying competitions, which took place on March 19 in the village of Kardymovo.
The team included: Denis Methodyev, Vladimir Koshelkov, Egor Afanasyev, Daniil Vasiliev, Denis Gerasimov, Vladislav Kuzmenkov, Vladimir Chukalin, Vasily Savelyev from Dukhovshchina Secondary School named after P.K. Kozlova and Alexander Pavlov from Ozernensky secondary school.
