A team of Moscow schoolchildren became the winner of the championship in algorithmic programming

In Moscow, the results of the VI All-Russian educational festival on artificial intelligence and programming RuCode 6.0 were summed up, in which almost four thousand beginners and experienced programmers from 82 regions of Russia and 29 countries of the world took part. The organizer of the festival was the MIPT IT Education Development Center.
As Aleksey Maleev, director of the Center, said, the programmers solved such tasks as determining an approach for correcting errors in the text and determining the color of the car. Moreover, what is important, many of the young people this year were able to participate in the festival not only remotely, but also at face-to-face venues that were opened in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Irkutsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Petrozavodsk, Perm, Tyumen, Tomsk, Volzhsky , Vladivostok.
What is nice, one of the winners of the championship in algorithmic programming, which was held as part of the festival, was a team of Moscow schoolchildren born in 2010. The team included sixth-graders: Alexei Marchenko, a student of the Vorobyovy Gory school, Mikhail Obukhov, a student of the Lyceum Second School, and Maxim Umnov, a student of school No. 2086.
All participants of the festival who have proved themselves will receive certificates and certificates of the established form of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. And for the prize-winners and winners of the championships in artificial intelligence and algorithmic programming, MIPT has prepared additional points that future applicants will be able to use in 2023 when entering a university.

The next festival will take place in 2023 and you can prepare for it in advance. For future participants in the open access on the educational platform Stepik laid out training courses developed by teachers and methodologists of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
