A team from the Pskov region will take part in the Spartakiad of Russian pensioners

The team of “silver age” from the Pskov region will take part in the VII Spartakiad of Russian pensioners. As MK in Pskov was told by the press service of the Union of Pensioners of Russia, the final of a large-scale sporting event will be held from September 26 to 29 in Tolyatti.
Last year and the year before, the Spartakiad was canceled due to the high incidence of coronavirus. This year, about 659 amateur athletes from different parts of the country will gather in Togliatti. All of them will compete for the title of the best in the individual and team competitions.
Athletes of the “silver age” will be able to demonstrate their skills and abilities in all sports: athletics and swimming, table tennis and shooting, chess and volleyball, as well as darts. By tradition, under the flag of the event, amateur athletes will be able to pass the TRP standards for 9, 10, and 11 steps.
