In Pskov, the results of the personal and team championship in branding among schoolchildren from 10 schools in the city were summed up. “MK in Pskov” was informed about this by the press service of the Pskov city administration.

20 children performed at the tournament, held at the Leader child development center. First, the players competed in an individual tournament, and then the best 2 players from each school took part in the team competition.

In the individual competition, Veronika Petrova won, Nikita Vinogradov took second place, and Pavel Vasiliev took third place. In team competitions, places were distributed as follows: first place – Pskov Technical Lyceum, second – Pskov Humanitarian Lyceum, third – Pskov Engineering and Linguistic Gymnasium. All participants and winners were awarded prizes and medals.

Let us note that tavreli is an ancient Russian intellectual game, reminiscent of the well-known chess. However, tavrels are more complex and interesting than chess, as they teach you to think in three-dimensional space and make it possible to plan complex game combinations.
