A major renovation of the swimming pool is underway in Kholmsk. The municipal administration spoke about this.
At the sports facility, showers are being dismantled and bathtubs are being dismantled. The contractor removed equipment from the engine room. The work is being carried out within the contract schedule. Later, the ventilation system, pool bowl and utilities will be updated in the room.
“The reinforced concrete of the old bowl and columns is now being dismantled. Next, according to the schedule, we will carry out concrete work for a new stainless bathtub, and in parallel with this, the interior decoration of the walls of the main hall and shower rooms will be carried out,” shared Artem Blinov, a representative of the contractor YuVA LLC.
Despite the overhaul, young swimmers of the Kholmsky district who have sports ranks do not interrupt the training process and continue to prepare for competitions. Twice a week they swim in pools in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Aniva.
The renovation of the sports facility in Kholmsk is planned to be completed in early 2025.
