The organizers gave some advice on how to prepare for the swim, which will take place on July 8 in Lake Imandra.
First, set an adequate goal. Even if you are an experienced swimmer, but have not swum in cold water, start with a distance of 1000 meters. For those who feel confident, you can choose 1.6 km.
Also prepare your equipment and do a pull-in workout at the start. Most importantly, do not forget to warm up before starting.
