A SVO participant was denied a bicycle rental: “It was in uniform, with a medal”

A complaint from a local resident circulated in Krasnoyarsk public pages, reporting what she considered an egregious incident. According to the woman, she went for a walk in the city park with her husband, who “came on leave from the front line after being wounded” and was soon going to volunteer for the Northern Military District again. The couple wanted to ride bicycles, however, the woman claims, they were refused at the local rental office.

The wife of an SVO volunteer claims that her husband was refused without explanation at two rental points, explaining only that he “does not inspire confidence.” The woman emphasized that at that moment “he was cute in shape, with a medal.”

Expressing indignation, the woman said that her husband “is fighting for those who rent these bikes” and that she is “very offended by such an attitude towards the defender.”

At the same time, the park administration came to the defense of the businessmen. Park Director stated “Podem” that “they definitely couldn’t refuse him at the municipal rental office,” and in general, “the distributor is not a fool – the main thing for him is to get money.” The only exception is if “the person is intoxicated or behaves inappropriately in some way.”

The park administration noted that they had not received any official complaints, and the post on social networks “smacks of a fake story”: “Why couldn’t she write in feedback <...> Why didn’t she then write to, I don’t know, Trump Donald?”
