Alexander Kholodov, a 2nd year student of the Management training direction of the Stavropol branch of the Presidential Academy, became the bronze medalist of the International KUDO competition “Russian Friendship Cup for the prizes of the Governor of the Kaliningrad Region”, which was held at the Yantarny Sports Palace in Kaliningrad on September 30, 2023. 65 representatives from 14 regions of Russia and teams from Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan took part in these competitions.
Alexander competed in the category up to 270 units in three fights, of which he won two, demonstrating excellent technique, strength, speed, control and iron willpower. “The final match turned out to be very interesting and spectacular. At such a young age, achieving success and winning a bronze medal at International competitions is a serious achievement,” said sports commentator Dmitry Bobtsov.
