Yevgenia Zhukova, a tenth-grade student of Moscow School No. 2065, became the winner of the VIII Interdisciplinary Convergent Education Olympiad.
Evgenia Zhukova reached the semi-finals of the competition along with eleven other schoolchildren. The guys solved non-standard problems in mathematics, biology, chemistry, geography, physics, computer science, history, and English. For example, in one of the tasks, using digital laboratory sensors, based on their own measurements, it was required to determine the region of origin of water.
As the girl herself said, she was advised to take part in the competition by a chemistry teacher Lyubov Obolenskaya, under whose guidance the girl created a hydrogel with nano-silver from Sosnovsky’s hogweed burns. Last year, Evgenia Zhukova became very interested in medicine, studied chemistry and biology in depth at school in order to become a doctor. And this year, the girl transferred to the social and humanitarian direction, but she did not give up the natural sciences, she decided to participate in the interdisciplinary Olympiad, where she won.
