In Magadan, the local mayor’s office declared a state of emergency due to a pack of killer dogs attacking local residents.
The regime was introduced in the regional capital due to the aggressive behavior of stray animals, explained Magadan Mayor Yuri Grishan in his TG channel. He stressed that all measures will be taken to ensure the safety of citizens. The mayor asked that all requests regarding this matter be sent to the city’s EDDS by calling 112.
This reaction from the authorities is associated with recent high-profile cases of attacks by packs of dogs. A few days ago, a man was allegedly attacked by a pack and is now hospitalized. Another resident of Magadan died from bites in July. In June, dogs attacked a little girl in Mayak Park. A similar incident occurred in March at the playground on the Embankment.
