In the village of Bogoslovka, Penza District, on June 2, 2023, the grand opening of an open-type sports and recreation complex took place.
About 45 million rubles were allocated for the construction of the complex from the budgets of all levels.
The governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko personally supervised the construction of this facility.
The universal complex can accommodate up to 120 people at the same time, allowing training both in summer and winter.
It was built at the secondary school named after Sergei Surkov, where 570 children study.
Russian skier, three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov was a special guest at the opening of the complex.
The complex will be able to practice various sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, athletics and ice hockey in winter.
Alexander Bolshunov expressed confidence that thanks to the conditions created in the new complex, talented athletes will be brought up here who will be able to achieve high results in the future.
The complex includes a football field with artificial turf, athletics tracks, a volleyball and basketball court, a playground with outdoor exercise equipment and a collapsible stand for 100 seats.
