A speed skater from the Arkhangelsk region took bronze at the zonal championship. We are talking about an athlete from the Pomorye Olympic reserve school, Kirill Demenev. The starts took place in the Moscow region and brought together 170 boys and girls under 17 years old. These are athletes from the Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Leningrad, Murmansk regions, the Republic of Karelia, the Komi Republic and St. Petersburg.
Having scored a total of 162,996 all-around points, the Arkhangelsk resident became the bronze medalist of the zonal championship. The first and second places were taken by representatives of St. Petersburg Dmitry Stenin and Ilya Sviridov.
