The Spanish top division club intends to invite the coach of Spartak Moscow. Cadiz is interested in the services of the head coach of Spartak Moscow Guillermo Abascal, journalist Angel Garcia Alvarez reported on the social network X.
He noted that Cadiz considers Abascal a promising option to replace the club’s current coach Sergio Gonzalez. Currently, things are not going well for the Spanish club – only 15 points have been scored in 15 matches, the club is in the relegation zone, occupying 18th place. The team has not won 5 matches in a row.
As for Spartak, at the end of the first part of the season the Moscow club scored 30 points and ranks fifth. Earlier it was reported that Abascal could be fired from the team if he does not fulfill two tasks for the season – to lead the team to the top 3 of the Russian championship and win the National Cup.
