A skier from Bryansk became the Champion of Russia in the sport of the deaf

The Bryansk athlete became the winner of the Russian Deaf Sports Championship. Mass competition unfolded on the territory of the ski complex named after Raisa Smetanina in the Komi Republic.

The participants competed in cross-country skiing. The women faced the task of overcoming the distance of 5 kilometers, the men fought for victory on the 10-kilometer track. Athletes competed with a separate start in a free style.

The “gold medal” in the race was won by Daniil Andreev from Bryansk, a student of the “Victoria” secondary school. The skier trains under the guidance of Elena Timokhina, the regional department of physical culture and sports reported.
