He decided to drop an underage patient with pneumonia from an ambulance right on the way to the hospital. The other day in Vidnoye something happened that defies description. A mother with a choking child was dropped from a private ambulance because the father of the child and the paramedic could not agree on a price. The health worker, who initially agreed to take 30,000 rubles for transportation, suddenly demanded 100,000 rubles from his parents for transportation from Vidnoye to Moscow.
“In early March, my 13-year-old son Amin became seriously ill: he was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia,” said the boy’s father, Elshad. – The son was immediately put in intensive care, but there was no positive dynamics. He could only breathe while wearing an oxygen mask. We began to think about transferring to Moscow.
The father agreed that the child would be admitted to the capital’s hospital, and decided to send him there with his mother in a private ambulance. The dispatcher announced the price: 15 thousand per call, 200 rubles. per kilometer and 4 thousand for oxygen.
When a car came for the boy, according to Elshad, the paramedic began to demand 100 thousand. The man again contacted the dispatcher, and he agreed to the “thirty”. But, apparently, he forgot to warn about the amount for the carrier. While Amin and his mother were being taken to the hospital, his father transferred 30 thousand, and the paramedic, seeing the amount, threw a tantrum, dropped the woman with the child right on the street and left.
The father had to call another ambulance. Amin managed to be taken to the hospital, he is now recovering.
A couple of days later, Elshad received a call from a medical company and was told that the paramedic had been fired, but by that time, according to his father, the Moscow Region Investigative Committee had already opened a criminal case on the provision of services that did not meet safety requirements (this article threatens up to 2 years in prison). There is no price list, no agreement of the parties, no guarantee that the medical service will be provided in full. It’s like renting a Gazelle, not an ambulance.
By the way, later it turned out that the 52-year-old unfortunate physician has a very dark medical past. In 2005, he worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist in Volgograd. Then, due to his mistake, the child of a 23-year-old patient died in the womb, and the girl herself later died from complications. The court sentenced the unfortunate doctor to two and a half years in a colony-settlement and banned him from practicing medicine for three years. After the ban expired, the man moved to the Moscow region and became the head of the ambulance substation. Last year, he had a conflict with a subordinate there, and he quit. Now, in addition to the position of a paramedic in a commercial clinic, this comrade accepts patients in a drug treatment clinic in Moscow as a resuscitator, psychiatrist and narcologist.
