A schoolgirl from Novoshakhtinsk became the champion of the Southern Federal District in contact karate

A schoolgirl from Novoshakhtinsk, Amina Aslakhanova, won gold at the Southern Federal District championship in contact karate. The competition took place in the Republic of Adygea and brought together more than 500 participants from four regions of the southern federal district.

13-year-old Amina diligently prepared for the competition for a whole month under the guidance of three coaches, including her father. The girl daily honed her combat technique, performed functional training and worked on her strikes.

– I really wanted to win these competitions. I practiced precision strikes and roundhouse kicks. My dad trained me a lot in his free time so that I could achieve such results,” says the young champion.

In order to reach the final, the girl had to fight in two fights. First, she defeated athletes from the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea.

The victories gave Amina strength and in the decisive match she managed to defeat one of the strongest participants in the competition.

– I had practically no worries. I already knew my opponent, her strengths and weaknesses. In addition, I had tremendous support from my coaches, this gave me strength to win,” the athlete shared

Amina has been practicing karate since she was six years old. Already from the first competitions she managed to take first places. Soon she will be awarded the first sports category.

Her love for sports was brought to her by her father, who later became her coach and mentor.

Now the girl is in seventh grade. She manages to combine professional sports and studies. Amina devotes all her free time to karate.

In the future, the karateka wants to connect her life with professional sports.
