A sambo wrestler from Karelia won a confident victory at the Championship of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia

The Karelian sportsman excelled in sambo competitions among sportsmen-employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service. The championship was organized in Ryazan, it brought together 54 teams from 53 regions of our country, the public “Sport is the norm of life in Karelia” was reported.
Karelian sambist, master of sports of Russia of international class Rashad Muradov won a brilliant victory, performing in the weight category up to 71 kilograms. The Ministry of Sports of the Republic noted that the athlete had five fights and won an early victory in each. In the final, the Karelian sambo wrestler faced a three-time world champion in hand-to-hand combat from Yekaterinburg, and confidently won.
Now the master of sports of Russia of international class will take part in the National Sambo Championship in Perm.
