A sambist from Chuvashia wins the Russian Championship

Representative of Chuvashia Alexander Fedorov won the gold medal at the Russian Sambo Championship in Bryansk.
He won the highest award in the weight category up to 64 kg. In the final fight he defeated Anton Zaitsev from Moscow.
“Alexander, you are a real winner! We’re proud!” – wrote the Minister of Sports of Chuvashia Vasily Petrov in his Telegram channel.
Earlier, representatives of Chuvashia Tatyana Fedorova and Sofya Emelyukova won medals at the Russian Championship. They took first and third places respectively in the up to 50 kg category.
