Chuvash sambo wrestler Daniil Orlov won the gold medal at the international tournament in Moscow.
At the Sambo Founders’ Cup he became the best in the weight category up to 79 kg.
The Minister of Sports of Chuvashia, Vasily Petrov, reacted to Orlov’s success.
“Congratulations to the athlete on a brilliant result! We’re proud!” – Petrov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Orlov is a graduate of PKS “Ekra”.
Representatives of 16 countries took part in the tournament – Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, South Korea.
