A resident of Saratov gave birth to a child on New Year’s Day. She turned to doctors on January 1 with complaints of abdominal pain, having no idea that she was pregnant, they said in the telegram channel of the Regional Clinical Hospital.
“During the additional examination, the first period of the first term labor was revealed. It was no longer possible to transfer the patient to the maternity hospital in this condition. Moreover, the girl categorically denied pregnancy,” the hospital said.
As a result, the visiting team of the perinatal center and an obstetrician-gynecologist delivered the baby. Three hours later, the woman became a mother for the first time, a full-term healthy girl was born, 8-9 points on the Apgar scale.
The girl was transferred to the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. After stabilizing her condition, the mother was sent to the perinatal center.
At the Regional Clinical Hospital, they wished the mother and child good health and noted that they consider what happened to be a real New Year’s miracle.
