A Russian woman was taken to the police station for eating red caviar near the Kremlin walls

A little-known blogger with several thousand subscribers on a banned social network and a hundred on Telegram, Gulina Naumann, said that she was detained by the police while filming another video for her blog. According to the woman, the reason was the demonstrated “excesses”.

Naumann said that she received 14 kg of red caviar from the Far East, and this inspired her to create a video in retro style. The woman dressed in a fur coat, came to Red Square and, sitting on the paving stones, made herself a large sandwich with caviar in front of the camera and ate it with pleasure. However, police officers soon approached her and took her to the station, the blogger said.

The blogger claims that she and the assistant who filmed the video faced “interrogations and painful hours of waiting in the company of criminals.” Later she reported MSK1.ru that after three hours she was released without drawing up a report.

“Here’s what it turned out: you can’t shoot so much caviar near the Kremlin,” Naumann said. “The situation in the country prohibits showing off.”

In the comments, users were divided into two camps. Some condemned the woman, believing that she deliberately behaved provocatively, some even accused her of violating the image of the country – “foreign guests will have a false impression of Russians.” The blogger was also condemned for civic irresponsibility: “Pensioned grannies collect help for the Northern Military District, sew tactical stretchers, weave mask nets, and the slogan “everything for the front” is still in effect.”

Others found the blogger’s idea funny and harmless, and also wondered whether there was a law defining the permissible amount of caviar for consumption and the places allowed for eating.
