In a conversation with the publication, Olga stated that she lived with a man for seventeen years. In her opinion, this is a compelling argument for not giving up money.
According to the woman, they had recently lived separately, but her ex-husband raised her child from the age of five and visited her every day while he was at home.
Olga also stated that she did not know about his desire to divorce her. The man allegedly did not tell her about this.
However, the relatives of the deceased SVO member Andrei did not support Olga’s desire to save the marriage. The niece said that he had not lived with his wife for several years and dreamed of getting a divorce. The couple has no children together, they did not share property.
The man filed for divorce even before leaving for the Northern Military District, then signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense. And when the marriage was officially dissolved, he was no longer alive.
The relatives of the deceased turned for help to the office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Sverdlovsk Region.
The publication writes that the world court will begin to decide the fate of the marriage of Andrei and Olga on February 9. The woman, without waiting for the verdict, has already submitted an application to receive payments. And she was even transferred half of the regional subsidy allocated to the relatives of those killed in the Northern Military District. The second part was received by the serviceman’s mother.
