The FSB detained a man who was planning to commit a terrorist attack on the Trans-Siberian Railway at the direction of Ukrainian intelligence.
This is a Russian citizen born in 1962. He planned to carry out a terrorist attack at the railway junction of the Trans-Siberian Railway in the Sverdlovsk region – on instructions from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the department emphasized. A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee. It is noted that the attacker confessed and is cooperating with the investigation.
Ukrainian special services, as it became known, recruited a Russian in Lvov. He underwent sabotage training and was sent to our country. The man was planning to carry out terrorist attacks by overturning trains carrying cargo in the interests of a special operation, using homemade devices.
