A music channel received a fine for “LGBT” because of an old video for the song “Fairytale City”

The Tagansky Court of Moscow decided to fine a Russian music television channel 1 million rubles, which aired an old video of the group “Dancing Minus”. Information about this appeared in the card index on the official portal capital courts of general jurisdiction.

As follows from the documents, the TV channel paid for the video for the song “Fairytale City” from 2000. The video, which is about 4 minutes long, includes a 9-second segment showing two girls. The plaintiff’s experts and later the judge came to the conclusion that the kiss of “two persons of the same biological sex” was, according to some classification, not “social” but “sensual.” It is known that the clip was shown on the channel’s daytime broadcast last summer and was rated 12+.

A number of telegram channels write that the defendant’s lawyer tried to prove in court that the kiss symbolized love for Russia and the Russian cities – Moscow and St. Petersburg, but the judge was not convinced by the arguments. The channel was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 6.21.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (“dissemination among minors of information demonstrating non-traditional sexual relationships”).

At the end of 2023, the Supreme Court recognized the “LGBT movement” as an extremist organization and banned its activities on the territory of the Russian Federation.
