A teacher from the Leningrad region who seduced a fourth-grader may face up to 20 years in prison. The managing partner of the company “Ilyumzhinov, Rusyaev and Partners”, lawyer Ilya Rusyaev, spoke about this, as quoted by Izvestia.
As the specialist pointed out, in Russia crimes against minors are punished severely, so the teacher could receive a very severe sentence. According to the lawyer, the defendant faces up to 20 years in prison.
Rusyaev also drew attention to the fact that an 11-year-old child is not yet able to give an adequate account of his actions, which can lead to psychological trauma. The incident showed that the teacher does not know the basic psychology of children and is unsuitable for the job, the expert added.
Law enforcement authorities arrested the teacher. A case was opened against her under the article on sexual assault committed against a minor.
Earlier it became known that in Toksovo, a 25-year-old class teacher committed indecent acts of a sexual nature with an 11-year-old schoolboy in the office of an educational institution. For several months, the woman corresponded with the child and sent him intimate photographs of herself. After the victim’s mother found out about this, she contacted the school principal and the police.
