According to the source, Mikhail Raduga moved to California, where he and a colleague launched a test version of “two-way interaction from a computer.” The Telegram channel states that at first people learned to drive a virtual car using sensors and LEDs installed in front of their eyes, then repeated the actions in their sleep.
Five people took part in the research; they spent one to four nights in the laboratory. During the study, they experienced 18 lucid dreams, in 12 of which they were able to control a virtual machine, avoiding obstacles.
According to the scientist, the experiment showed that people in their sleep can respond to the actions of a computer.
The team’s plans are to release a device for connecting to the Internet while asleep.
