In the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad region, a pensioner found a combat grenade launcher in the barn of her dacha for her husband, who served in the North Caucasus in the 90s. This was reported by the GUMVD for St. Petersburg and the region.

“A 66-year-old pensioner contacted the police with a statement that at her summer cottage, located in the village of Volkovitsy, … she found an object similar to a disposable grenade launcher in the barn,” the report said.

According to law enforcement agencies, the weapon belonged to her husband, who died in 2022. He took part in military operations in the 1990s in the North Caucasus.

The GUMVD added that researchers confirmed that the grenade launcher was combat.
