A citizen of the Russian Federation, who has been living in Kyiv for seven years, tried to cross the border with Romania. They didn’t let him in and put an insulting stamp in his Russian passport, the man shared the details on his social networks.
Russian Igor Zabotin, who has lived in Kyiv for the past few years and has a residence permit in Ukraine, tried to leave Ukrainian territory and enter Romania.
On August 15, 2022, from approximately 18:00 to 22:00, a citizen of the Russian Federation passed border control at the Porubnoye checkpoint. The man gave his Russian passport to the border guards, who put a stamp on one of the pages of the document with an inscription about a Russian warship. He was forbidden to cross the border at this checkpoint and the stamp on leaving the country was canceled, so the man was forced to return back to Kyiv.
