A native of Tula, Anna Fateeva, won the Russian hand-to-hand combat championship. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Sports.
Tulyachka competed in the 48 kilogram weight category, where she was able to win not only a victory, but also a belt and the title of Russian champion in hand-to-hand combat. Now Anna Fateeva has joined the national team and will compete at international competitions.
In the open weight category, Alexandra Shubina became the bronze medalist of the Russian Championship.
It is clarified that the athletes were prepared for the competition by Dmitry Dagaev, Alexander Bushin, Inna Zhdanova, Andrey Garbuz, Ramazan Bagomedov and Artur Vartevanyan.
The Russian hand-to-hand combat championship was held in Suzdal from November 7 to 10. More than 250 athletes from 44 regions of the country took part in the competition.
