A resident of Sakhalin won the gold of the triathlon competition in Samara

Sakhalin athlete Alexander Yablochnikov showed the first result in his age group of the IronStar Samara triathlon competition. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region.
The competitions were held in Samara and brought together more than 1,000 athletes from all over Russia. Sakhalin competed in the age category of 35-39 years at the Olympic distance – 1500 meters swim, 40 km bike and 10 km run.
Alexander Yablochnikov covered the distance completely in 2 hours 10 minutes – this is the first result in his age group and 19th in the overall standings.
Formerly MK on Sakhalin toldthat traffic on the Petropavlovskoye – Voskresenskoye – Aniva – Solovyovka highway will be limited on June 24 in connection with the triathlon sports event at the Aniva-sprint sprint distance.
