A criminal case was opened against a resident of Kerch for calling on the Internet to kill Russian servicemen, Kommersant was told in the press service of the regional department of the FSB.
According to the Chekists, a criminal case was opened against a 48-year-old man under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activities using the Internet). “The defendant posted a comment on his personal page on the Odnoklassniki social network calling for the murder of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” the FSB press service said.
The man faces up to five years in prison.
Former head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov supported the adoption of a law on criminal liability for the dissemination of fakes about the military operation in Ukraine, calling it long overdue.
