A resident of Karelia won the competition in orienteering

Sergey Zubov, a graduate of sports school No. 2 of Petrozavodsk, became the best among young men born in 2007-2008 at the all-Russian orienteering competition “Black Sea”, the Ministry of Education and Sports of Karelia reports. The athlete showed absolute dominance in his age category, having won gold medals in all disciplines: cross-classics, cross-sprint, cross-long, cross-multi-day.
136 participants from all over Russia took part in the competitions held in Gelendzhik. In May, Sergey Zubov, together with the best participants of the “Black Sea” in Perm for the championship of Russia in orienteering.
