A resident of Belgorod told how she escaped death at the last moment

Belgorod resident Yulia Mukrishcheva told how she miraculously escaped at the last moment during shelling from Ukraine. Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the shelling was carried out from the RM-70 Vampire MLRS, and Russian air defense shot down 14 shells. According to the head of the region, five people were killed, including a child, and 18 people were injured. The shopping center on Plekhanov Street, where the Magnit store is located, was severely damaged.
“I brought my grandmother to the store, sat in the car, waited,” said a city resident. According to her, when she heard loud noises, she decided to get out of the car and run into the building. At that moment, fragments flew and the entire front of the car was destroyed. Yulia believes that if she had stayed in the car, she might not have survived.
“People were running around, screaming. A woman’s arm was torn off, someone died,” Mukrishcheva also said about the first moments after the shelling.
She added that she was very worried about her grandmother, but found her unharmed.
