A relative of 33-year-old athlete Boris Sprygin, the culprit of a high-profile accident in the Maryino region, spoke about the investigation of the accident. Recall that on August 16, Sprygin’s Ford Mustang GT sports car crashed into a tree and a passenger was injured. The driver himself fled the scene of the accident.
As the basketball player’s sister, the injured 43-year-old Anna, a neighbor and friend of the athlete, told MK, she was taken to the hospital after the accident. Doctors, having examined the patient and provided the necessary assistance, let her go home.
“Anna is fine now. She is being treated at home, always in touch with Boris, – the relative specified.
According to her, the basketball player did not leave Anna in the car. A passenger with a right leg injury asked Boris to call her husband. At the moment when the ambulance took away the wounded, the perpetrator of the accident tried to contact her husband. After reporting the incident, the basketball player went home in a state of shock and with broken ribs. There, he drank a little to numb the pain from his injuries and calm down. Soon the police arrived at the apartment. The relative also said that Anna wrote a statement in which she had no complaints.
By the way, in an interview with one of the media, Boris Sprygin said that he was sober during the accident. The cause of the accident, he said, was a cat that ran across the road. The driver tried to dodge the collision, but lost control and crashed into a tree.
