The DAN information portal, with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the DPR, reports on the development of a concept for the construction of a republican basketball center in Donetsk.
The sports facility will be built on the site of the Kalmius Arena stadium.
According to the department, plans include the creation of a transformable arena, which will allow sporting events in various sports at the international level, as well as cultural and entertainment events.
The Ministry of Sports also noted that it is not possible to resume construction of the Kalmius Arena due to technical and technological factors.
