A rally was held in Khabarovsk in honor of the birthday of the former governor of the region, Sergei Furgal. He is 53 years old. February 10 ex-head of the region sentenced to 22 years in a strict regime colony. Actions were also reported in Komsomolsk-on-Amur and Novosibirsk.

The case of Sergei Furgal began in 2020. The ICR accused him of organizing the murder of businessmen Yevgeny Zori in 2004 and Oleg Bulatov in 2005, as well as an attempt on the life of businessman Alexander Smolsky. In the summer of 2020, mass protests took place in Khabarovsk in defense of the ex-governor.
February 2, 2023 jurors recognized Sergei Furgal guilty on all three episodes.
