Several thousand Istanbul residents took to the streets in support of Palestinians in Gaza
On January 1, 2024, several thousand residents of Istanbul rallied in support of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, walking from mosques in the city center.
It is worth noting that such rallies have been taking place since October not only in Istanbul, but also in other cities of Turkey.
The procession of the Turks began on the first day of the new year and started at 8:30 local time (which coincides with Moscow time) with the participation of believers who left four different mosques located in the city center after morning prayers.
The activist’s main message was condemnation of the Israeli army’s ground military operation in Gaza.
