Deputies from all factions submitted to the State Duma a draft law on the release of fathers of four minor children from partial mobilization. The document was published in the Duma database.
“We consider it necessary to amend the current legislation, freeing families with many children from partial mobilization, raising the age of children to 18,” the explanatory note says.
The authors recalled that at the moment, citizens who are raising four or more children under 16 or raising a child under 16 without a mother have the right to defer from mobilization. Fathers of three children under the age of 16 and those who have pregnant wives with a gestational age of at least 22 weeks are subject to exemption from conscription.
