Night owls are more likely to experience headaches than early birds, Canadian scientists have found.
Canadian scientists have collected information on millions of teenagers and young adults to identify factors that influence headache susceptibility. One of these is called the late chronotype. In other words, night owls are more likely to experience headaches.
Other factors cited include smoking both regular and e-cigarettes, drinking alcohol, spending too much time in front of screens and having an irregular diet.
Women were more prone to headaches than men.
