The presentation of the song “Christmas. Good Hour!”, the lyrics for which were written by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, took place at the department’s Reception House.
The author of the music was the Belarusian composer Leonid Shirin, and the song was performed by Ksenia Galetskaya. The joint Russian-Belarusian project is aimed at preserving and strengthening the traditions of the two countries and the Christian world as a whole. He was assisted by the Secretary of State of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev.
Zakharova said that she showed the text to Patriarch Kirill and received his blessing.
