A plane flying to Russia made an emergency landing in Lithuania

On the way from Turkey to Russia, a passenger plane made an emergency landing in Lithuania. The information was reported by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) in Telegram-channel.
On October 18, the Southwind airline plane took off from Antalya airport at 19:20 to Moscow. According to the source, an unexpected situation occurred on board, due to which the airliner was forced to urgently change direction and land in Lithuania. The Boeing 777 arrived in Moscow at 1:20 a.m. on October 19. The flight delay was less than two hours.
According to the source, one of the passengers on board felt unwell. The crew decided to land at the nearest airport, as a stroke was suspected. In Lithuania, the woman was sent to the hospital, and the plane resumed its flight to Moscow.
