A pensioner who was injured due to uncleaned roads was carried out on a blanket after surgery

The photo, in which three men are dragging a pensioner clutching crutches in a blanket through the snow, caused a wide public outcry. It turned out that the picture was taken in the village of Shafranovo, Alsheevsky district, in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Due to uncleaned roads, the car with the patient after the operation could not drive up to the house. The villagers were forced to carry an elderly man on a blanket. Gulnaz Gilyazova, a resident of Shafranovo, told MK about how the village after snowfalls, from year to year, is overgrown with snow.

“Our village is quite large, more than 2,000 people live in Shafranovo,” says local activist Gulnaz Gilyazova. – It is 18 kilometers to the administrative center of the Alsheevsky district – Raevka, 137 kilometers to Ufa. We have our own administration, our own head, 7 more villages belong to the Shafranovsky rural settlement. And the tractor that cleans the snow is the only one for everyone.

– Who is depicted in the photo that caused a scandal?

– This is our fellow villager, he is 84 years old. His daughter took him from the hospital. A month ago, he broke his hip joint, he underwent surgery. Relatives called the administration, asked to clear their street of snow, and warned that their daughter would bring her father from the hospital in the regional center in the afternoon. On that day, the tractor was just cleaning Shafranovo. But for some reason their request was ignored. It was impossible to enter the street, it was all littered with snow. I had to look for help. After the operation, an elderly man was carried to the house on a blanket. And to go there is not close, more than a kilometer.

The photograph shows that the man lies in a crooked state, clasping crutches with his hands. Under the head of the poor fellow is a blue bag, apparently with the things that were with him in the hospital. “This is how we dragged dad to Molodezhnaya Street today. They asked to clean the road, alas, no one needs it, ”Guzal signed the picture.

– Wherever we just did not apply about clearing roads from snow, no one hears us. We go to the head of the village council, he says: “Take shovels in your hands.” It is clear that after snowfalls everyone comes out with shovels and cleans their house territory. But the main roads, for which the village council is responsible, often remain covered with snow. We know in advance what the administration of the rural settlement will tell us, they say, the tractor is old, it’s about to break down, the bucket may not withstand such intensive work, and the roads need to be cleaned in Shafranovo and in 7 other villages. I sent a letter describing everything that was happening to the Central Administration of the Republic of Bashkortostan (TsUR). The answer came from the administration of the Alsheevsky district. I was told that now, after a heavy snowfall, an emergency situation. I had to write that, in fact, we have an emergency situation all winter. Such is the vicious circle. Wherever you write appeals, they are sent down to the district administration, and they write everything off as a rush job.

Residents of Shafranovo say they are often late for work due to snow-covered roads. And if they are cleaned, then ugly.

“We have a narrow street, for example,” says Gulnaz Gilyazova. – The tractor passes once with the bucket lowered, removes only the top layer of snow, and the second time it returns with the bucket raised. From its wheels, the snow rises, a deep rut is formed, the cars then drive and often get stuck.

According to a resident of the village, lanes were specially made in neighboring streets so that cars could pass.

“These alleyways have never been cleaned at all during the winter. But there are many elderly people living there, among whom there are lonely ones. If something happens, neither the ambulance will drive up to the houses, nor the fire truck. And the old people who are lying down will also have to be carried out on a blanket.

Residents of Shafranov kindly remember the former tractor driver Vadim Kashapov, who cleaned the roads to the conscience. After his death, a very young boy got on the tractor, who, apparently, was told to save on everything.

– No one goes to work on a tractor in winter. The salary there, I think, is hardly more than 10 thousand.

Gulnaz says that she works in a small shop, next to it goes down the street, and then there is a roundabout to go to the main road.

“But this passage is never cleared of snow. It turns out a dead end street. If someone gets stuck at the entrance to the mountain, other cars will not pass.

After a rising wave of indignation, Molodezhnaya Street, along which the pensioner had to be carried on a blanket after the operation, was cleaned. And the locals are waiting with horror for the next snowfall.

Perhaps, after this publication, the administration of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan will notice the problem with clearing roads in Shafranovo and the villages adjacent to the village?
