A Paralympic swimmer from Krasnodar brought gold from international competitions in Italy

An athlete from the Kuban capital, Rodion Berdnik, won the stage of the world series of the International Paralympic Committee in swimming. The competition takes place in Italy, in the city of Lignano Sabbiadoro. The Krasnodar swimmer had no equal in the 100 m breaststroke.

How reports official information portal of the mayor’s office of the regional center, 350 athletes from 55 countries with intellectual disabilities, vision impairments and damage to the musculoskeletal system took part in the competition. Russia is represented at this prestigious tournament by 13 athletes. Among them are multiple winners and medalists of the Paralympic Games.

Previously “MK in Kuban” toldthat the Kuban Paralympic epee fencer won bronze at the Russian Championship.
